Some Sad News.

Hey lovelies today's post is a little different yet very special to me.  I want to tell you all that life is so precious and short to never forget to tell your loved ones how much you love them. Enjoy everyday and make everyday count. You never know when it will be your turn to go.

I lost my uncle Thomas at the tender age of 40 on 06/25/15. I haven't been ok to write about this until today.  I am currently on my way to pay my last respects and bid farewell to my uncle Tom.

My uncle was a pretty cool and amazing guy and in my own words, I will say he was pretty bad ass!
He leaves behind his two kids Angelic (9) and Thomas Anthony (almost 2), along with my Aunt Ann.
Life is so unpredictable and your world can be turned up side down in a split second. My uncle died unexpectedly while on vacation with his family in Yellowstone, from a heart attack.
I take comfort in knowing that he had his family with him and that he was doing something he enjoyed so much, camping. He loved the outdoors.
He was so accomplished for someone his age. I just want to share a few things about him. My uncle Tom served in the US Marines, was very well educated, he earned his bachelor's degree from Loyola Marymount University in California and was a certified public accountant. He was a VP for his company Norhrop Grumman. (He took such pride in earning that position.)
He set a great example for his kids, and for us. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. I am so grateful that I got to see him and spend time with him days before he passed. I am thankful that I got to wish him a Happy Father's Day which was the last time I saw him.

I promise to watch over your family and I promise to always be there for them whenever they need me. I will forever remember and miss you!

I want to take this opportunity to thank you friends for visiting my blog and for allowing me to talk about anything and everything. Be kind to one another, love each other and remember to UNLOCK YOUR BEST!

Much Love,

Inner peace and tranquility

Hey guys, so today I wanted to make a little different kind of post. Something more personal and positive. I struggle with anxiety and have my entire life. Most people don't understand anxiety, unless they also suffer from it as well. This isn't a post about anxiety though, it's about Inner peace and tranquility. I want to share a few things that have helped me in my life, and things that I have to remind myself of. As seen pictured above, I 100% agree that NOTHING can bring you peace but yourself! Being at peace is such a wonderful feeling. We have to remember like the picture below says....
Seriously guys, being alive and well is something most of us take for granted. I say make today count. If you can make today count, then you will see how happy that will make you. Inner peace comes with people and things that bring you happiness. We need to realize and be grateful for what we have. In this day in age, it's so easy to complain and to pay attention to all of the negative aspects of our lives, whether it be how busy we are at work/school, how much housework we need to get done, or unfinished projects. It's all sorts of things in our daily lives that bring us stress. Instead I urge you to try and think of the good things in life, not the bad. A little thing that will make such a huge difference, trust me. I am forever stressing about something. I am teaching myself, to stop worrying about things out of my control, and to focus on the things I can control and the great things in my life. I just recently started going hiking with a few family members. Man I forgot how much I love nature and the outdoors in general. I live in a beautiful state full of wonderful trails and I hardly ever get out. Here are just a couple of pictures of the last two trails I've done.
The first pic was taken up Millcreek Canyon, SLC UT and the second picture is Bell Canyon in Sandy, UT
I am going to make it a point to get out as much as possible this summer. My hopes are for at least 3x a month..maybe more. I share this with you, because this brings me so much inner peace and tranquility. Find what makes you tick, or what allows you to release stress. Find something you enjoy doing. Lately after a VERY difficult start to this new year, I have been able to start relaxing and start truly enjoying myself. I am focusing on this blog that I love so much, on my boys that are my world, on all of those hobbies that make me so happy. I urge you to let go of all that is holding you back and just try! It really boils down to the little things in life, because those are the things that really matter. Inner peace and tranquility go hand in hand. Find one and you will have them both.

I will leave you with this last quote and thought.
I love you all and thanks for spending a couple minutes out of your day with me and remember to try to unlock YOUR best!

Much Love,
