Favorite Sring Lippies

Hey guys, I am really excited to share my favorite spring lippies with y'all. I love spring and it's a great time to break out some fun bright colors. I've incorporated liquid lipsticks, regular lipsticks, a crayon type lipstick and a few lip glosses.
Here are swatches from each lippie seen pictured above in the same order.

Starting with the first one, it is the Two Faced Melted in Peony
This is such a beautiful color.  It's not as in your face as some of the colors I will be sharing but it's also not a nude color.

The next one is also by Two Faced in Fuchsia
I was a little torn with picking this one because it is so bold.  This is one of those lippies that is perfect for the spring and summer. The thing is that there really aren't rules about when you can or can't wear certain colors, just where what you like when you want.

Moving on to Stila (by far some of my all time favorite liquid lippies!) in Como
This is such a stunning color. I know purple is one of those colors that you either love or hate. I personally love it! (I contemplated adding Heroine by MAC too but I decided on this tone better)

Next is also by Stila in Patina
This is a beautiful mauve color. This is one of those colors that can look very different on everyone based on your skin tone. I really enjoy this color.

It was SO hard to minimize my all time favorite lipsticks MAC to two favorite spring ones.
Let's start with MAC Creme de la femme (my only Frost lipstick)
Ok as I've already mentioned I am usually not a fan of frosted lipsticks at all but let me tell you this color is absolutely gorgeous! It has a light sheen but what I love about it is that it's literally a perfect you lip color but better. When I wear this it makes my lips look smooth, moisturized and just gorgeous. I get so many compliments when I wear this color. It's one that you have to try to see for yourself.

Next is also by MAC in Rebel
Ok most will think I'm crazy because it looks so dark and most are trying to get away from dark tones for the spring. Here's the thing though this is such a beautiful plummy purple. It's so pretty. Check out the swatch it's so so pretty.

Next up I am going to share Colourpop Lippie Stix in Brink
This color is so pretty because it's a peachy nude. The color pay off on these lippie stix's are amazing. They are also very comfortable to wear. This is what I reach for when I feel I want a subtle color with a hint of orange. It is such a lovely color.

Next up I have Bite Beauty lip gloss in Bellini
This gloss is pretty pigmented for a gloss and extremely beautiful. It has a little tackiness to it but nothing uncomfortable or annoying. I love hoe pretty it makes my pout look.

Next up are the lovely and all time favorite lip glosses for me.
The NXY Butter gloss in Apple Strudel and Raspberry Tart

I can't even begin to tell you how much I love these lip glosses. These are so comfortable, they smell SO good. I love everything about these glosses. These are not highly pigmented by any means but they are lovely.
You made it to the end congrats!! Here is a last picture of my swatches for your reference with the names listed.
Thank you SO much for stopping by!
Have a fantastic week.

Too Faced Born This Way Foundation Review

Hey guys I am so excited to share my thoughts on this amazing product with you guys!
I got this for my birthday just last month and haven't worn any other foundation since discovering it!

Warning crazy tired no makeup pictures fast approaching ;)

Let me start out by suggesting that you get matched for your shade of color . That is what I did at Sephora. The dilemma is that this foundation comes in a beautifully frosted bottle so just eyeing your color maybe a little tricky. Let the pro's figure it out for you. My shade is in Light Beige.

This foundation retails for $39 US dollars and comes with the usual 1 oz amount of product.
You can purchase this at your favorite beauty counter or directly from the Too Faced website.

Before we get to the actual review of this product let me show you a scary before pic.
This pic was taken pretty early in the morning with NO makeup on, just my moisturizer and foundation primer. (smashbox photo finish pore minimizing primer)
As you can see I have many imperfections and breakouts at the moment, what a perfect time to demonstrate the coverage.
I use a damped beauty blender to apply my foundation. I feel it gives me the most natural finish.
I personally only use one pump of product all over my face.
Here I have my faced with only foundation, no powder no concealer. It did an amazing job covering up all my red spots and acne. My skin has an overall more even tone.  I love this foundation!
It isn't cakey at all and you can layer it up if you want more coverage, I don't personally like to use more than a pump, but you do you boo...
Here I am with a full face of makeup & my little bottled treasure. (the magic of makeup right?!)
I can honestly tell you that this full coverage foundation feels super lightweight not at all heavy. It has a smooth beautiful finish. You can still see my freckles but covered all of my nasty blemishes. It lasts all day and looks flawless, I believe it's because the foundation contains Hyaluronic Acid and Coconut water.

*Born This Way is an oil-free foundation that masterfully diffuses the line between makeup and skin. For coverage so undetectable, you can’t see the makeup and you can’t see imperfections—all that’s left is naturally radiant skin that looks like you were Born This Way.

OK guys let's do the official rating of this foundation.

Price: The price is very reasonable especially for a high end foundation. I've paid a lot more for other foundations.
Packaging: I love love love that it comes with a pump and has a beautiful frosted bottle, the packaging is truly sleek and beautiful.
Longevity: I always wear a primer with all of my foundations and this one will last me all day. About 6 hours before my natural oils start coming through. I will usually either blot or powder up and that will do the trick for even more hours. Please keep in mind that I have combination to oily skin.
Quality: The quality is superb! I have tried A LOT of foundations and this one is so beautiful I love everything about it! Great for youthful, mature or anything in between. This is a gem!
Overall Rating: In case it isn't already obvious I give this an A++ overall rating. I HIGHLY recommend you get a sample or just take my word for it and give it a try.

OK loves, thank you SO much for stopping by today as usual let me know if there is something you would like for me to review next or if you have any questions.

Much Love,

November 2015 Monthly Favorites!

Hey y'all, I have a bunch of favorites from last month! I am so excited to share them with you guys...

This was a great month to try out a ton of new products, let's just say that I got spoiled for my birthday!

Let's start with my bran new planner cover!
I am so in love and obsessed with this cover! I purchased this beauty on Etsy. The sellers store is called SplendidlyImperfect.  Check her out, she's got some super cute stuff.

Next up is the Tarte Empower Flower Amazonian Clay Collector's Palette!
This is a must have palette, I highly recommend it! I did a full review on it click here to check it out.

Next is the new Too Faced: Born This Way Foundation in Light Beige
I plan on doing a full review of this product but let me tell you guys this is a beautiful foundation. I love it so much. I haven't worn any other foundation since getting this one! GET YOUR HANDS ON IT!

Next is the gorgeous Kat Von D Liquid Lipstick in Vampira
This is a gorgeous lip color, It's me in a tube! ha ha ha. It's a beautiful deep burgundy.  The thing with the Kat Von D's liquid lipsticks is that  they last all day long but they can be pretty drying on the lips. I will always use a lip balm underneath and even over if I need moister.

On that note let's move on to the Stila Stay all day Liquid Lipsticks in Caramello and Patina
I think this is one of the most comfortable liquid lipsticks out on the market. I seriously LOVE these SO much that I fully plan on buying the full size when I run out of the small tubes. Click here to check out my review.

Next up is the Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara
This was such a great mascara I am so glad a got a deluxe sample because I might not have tried it other wise. I will even purchase the full tube as soon as I'm done with the deluxe size.

Last but certainly not least is the Beats Pill!
This little guy can give you some serious sound vibes! It bumps! I can't believe I waited so long to get one. I have been using this NON STOP! It's awesome! The bluetooth quality is unlike any other seriously! NO static just pure music bliss!

There you have it guys those are all of my November favorites. I am excited to try new things this month, I will keep you all posted.

Much Love,

Favorite Fall Palettes

Hey guys so as a beauty lover I have accumulated a few palettes along the way. I love all of my palettes and use them often. I wanted to share some of my favorite palettes for the fall/winter time. When I think of fall I immediately think of warm tones, don't you?
So here I have a combination of older, newer and unfortunately some limited edition discontinued palettes.
These are some of my favorites. Lets start with the Balm Meet Matt(e) Nude Palette:
I love that this palette offers all matte colors. This has amazing shades and is super easy to travel with. You have 9 big eye shadows with great color payoff and a variation of warm, cool and neutral shades.

Next up is the Kat Von D Monarch Palette:
Let me start out by saying that Kat Von D knows her stuff, she is quickly becoming an obsession of mine! This isn't my only Kat Von D palette but it is my only fall favorite one. The quality of her shadows are amazing and they last forever. You get 12 shades in this palette and it truly is beautiful!

Now let's talk Too Faced Chocolate Bar:
This original chocolate bar is amazing in every aspect. I own the semi-sweet too but this one is by far my favorite of the two. This has beautiful colors and it smells amazing! Perfect Fall palette for sure!
This palette offers you 16 shades total. All rich in color payoff and phenomenal lasting power.

Ok this next one is the Morphe Colab with Jaclyn Hill: (unfortunately no longer available)
This is such a beautiful palette, seriously you guys all I have to say is Jaclyn is amazing and knows her stuff. She put me onto Morphe and I love their eye shadows and brushes. These are such beautiful shadows. 28 shadows total. They don't sale the palette anymore but you can buy these individually.

Somehow I am sure you all expected an Urban Decay Palette listed somewhere, well I have one and it's the newish amazing Naked Smoky Palette!
I think this is one of my favorite all time palettes! No joke it is gorgeous. I have created so many fabulous eye looks with this little jem! This offers 12 shades that are perfect and compliment each other so beautifully.

The next one is a more affordable palette, it's the Revealed 2 by Coastal Scents:
This palette is great, especially the price point. The colors are beautiful and they offer good color payoff. There is very little fall out and just a tad bit powdery but nothing bad, trust me. This includes 20 beautiful shades.

Last but certainly not least is the bhcosmetics It's Judy Time Palette: (Also no longer available)
So this palette is a colab with another YouTuber, Judy and it offers 12 lovely eyes shadows. This was also very affordable and the colors are beautiful. They are so rich in pigmentation with little to no fall out at all.

OK guys these are my Fall Favorite Palettes!
I hope you have enjoyed my little post. Thank you so much for stopping by.

Have a kick ass day!

June Monthly Favorites

Hello lovelies and welcome to July, I thought today would be a perfect day to share my June monthly favorites, enjoy!

I want to start off with my two ZPalettes, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these SO much! If you are interested in getting your own, I purchased mine off of the Makeup Geek website. They have super cute ones now, mine are a couple of their older ones. I have my palettes filled with Makeup Geek eye shadows, MAC, Coastal Scents and Morphe eye shadows. The best part of these palettes is that they are customizable. You can buy the colors and shadows that suit you. I consider myself the queen of warm/neutral shades but I wanted some fun bright colors for spring and summer. I went a little crazy and got a ton of shades I would normally not wear. I figured it would be fun to step out of my comfort zone.
Next up is the delicious  Dance 'til Dawn Tropical Tango from Bath and Body Works. I love a lot of their candles but this one was a first for me and it smells SO good! As it says it's very tropical so basically it's fruity, perfect for the summer! It makes me want to be in a tropical paradise like Hawaii. It's like a mixture of mango and pineapple, or at least that's what I think of when I smell it. I have been burning this nonstop this month as you can see in my first picture above, I only have a few more burns left.
Next up is the itCosmetics Bye Bye Under eye concealer. Some of you might know that I have pretty bad under eye bags and dark circles. Something I struggle with on the daily. I saw mixed reviews on this product but decided I would give it a whirl. Ok so first of all I picked up the shade tan for Medium skin tones. this has on orange undertone which is suppose to be great for hiding those nasty dark circles. I have to say that I love this product but understand the mixed reviews. #1 It is a thick creamy consistency which feels a little sticky or tacky. #2 this product doesn't set on it's own it stays tacky so you can set it OR #3 because it's so creamy if you have dry under eyes this works wonders because you don't have to set it but a little creasing can occur. It really isn't bad at all, I promise. I loath creasing and this has very minimal creasing. I really like this product.

Next up is the much raved about Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water. So I actually got a sample of this in my Birchbox subscription which I cancelled but I was SO happy to finally get this because it was so raved about. Honestly I felt that with my combo skin it would make me a greasy mess, it didn't. Especially during these hot months, I love it. I use it after I moisturize and before my regular primer and it has this neat cooling sensation. I can't say that it makes my makeup last any longer but I do enjoy it and will continue to use it until I run out.
Next is also a Smashbox product, it's the Photo Finish Foundation Primer Pore Minimizing. I love it! It does such a great job at minimizing the appearance of my pores and keeping my Tzone from being overly oily.   My Holy Grail primer has been the Benefit Porefessional and now I get to add this one to the mix, I do love them both equally. In many ways they are very similar, yet different. For instance, they both have a skin tone texture and both do a great job with hiding the pores but this Smashbox one is just a tad bit thicker. All you oily girls, or combo skin girls out there I say give it a try. It's worth the money.
OK on this next product I did a full review on it, click here to see the review. All you really need to know is that it's amazing!

So this Hard Candy setting spray is actually pretty good. I try and test out a lot of setting sprays and this one is honestly not bad especially if you look at the price point! It's not a holy grail by any means but it's a great drugstore alternative. It does a great job at setting my makeup and it does a great job at prolonging the wear of my makeup. It does not last all day by any means but it does last a good 4-6 hours, not bad at all. It does have a strong cucumber smell, which I don't personally mind but others might.

Next is the Sonia Kashuk Undetectable Cream Bronzer in Warm Tan. This is actually the first cream bronzer I  have ever owned, crazy I know. I really like it. I do use it to bronze my skin and then set is with a powder bronzer. It gives the prettiest glow. This is not for my fair girls out there, this color is a little too warm. You can however buy that lighter shades.
I left the best for last. Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in 210 Unapologetic. This is a new color for me, not my first colorburst but this color is so beautiful! I love it, it is VERY pigmented and very bright. It's such a gorgeous color for the summer. I have been wearing minimal makeup with a bam in your face lip color! These are so soft and creamy, they don't bleed and they last for a long time! They leave a beautiful stain on your lips even after you eat or drink. This is a must have product and if you don't like this bright color they have a ton to choose from. I personally own three and I want more!

Ok guys those are all of my faves for this month. I would love to see yours if you have a blog or YouTube account or anything you may want me to check out. Just leave me a comment or send me a private email. Thanks for spending time reading my post today.

Have a wonderful day!

Much Love,

Too Faced Shadow Insurance Glitter Glue Review

Shadow Insurance Glitter Glue Glitter Bonding Eye Shadow Primer
Price:$20.00
Size: 0.35 oz
What the company claims it does:
Wandering glitters and shimmers are for amateurs. This featherweight primer is specially formulated to keep glitters, shimmers and powders in place. The hard-working formula also evens skin tone and softens fine lines. Shadows, powders and glitters glide on effortlessly, stay in place and stay intensified for 24+ hours.
You can purchase this primer at Ulta, Sephora or directly from the Too Faced website.
Product Review:
To start of with my review I must say that the packaging is adorable, totally cute. I love that it comes in a squeeze tube so you can control the amount that comes out, with ease. The formula is skin toned and has a sticky creamy texture.
The product does an amazing job at securing the glitter to the eyelids or even plain eye shadows. The glitter glue works well with chunky or finely milled glitters. I recommend patting this to your eyelids and not applying it in swiping motions. This product sets fast so work quickly. Once the glitter is set it's not going to budge. I didn't test it for 24+ hours but I did test it for about 9 hours and it worked like a charm each and every time.
As for the price this tube is a little pricey, but in my opinion completely worth it. First of all because it comes in the tube and not a jar, it will not dry up, it stays sanitary because there are no wands or applicators.
How often do you really use glitter? It's meant to be used for glitter and you avoid all that crazy fallout but it's a perfect eye shadow primer in general.
Here are a few pictures to show you how well they work with regular eye shadows in addition to glitters.
Two different angels of my swatches. On the left side you will get to see shadows by themselves and on the right, you get to see them with the glitter glue. As you can tell by the swatches, the glitter glue intensifies the pigmentation of these shadows.

Eye Shadows: (Left to right/Top to bottom)
Wet n Wild-Brass/Laiton
Jesse's Girl Mineralized Baked Powder-Esmeralda
Milani-Bella Champagne
Pacifica-Treasure
Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar-Pink Sugar

I also have a sample of one of the days I used this glitter glue, pictured above (first pic).

Overall The Too Faced Shadow Insurance Glitter Glue gets a solid A rating from this gal.
It is a great addition to the primers I already own and I look forward to using it many many times moving forward.

I can't believe it's been a full month that I launched my blog, it was official as of yesterday! It has been a work in progress, and it's been super fun. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your continued support and don't forget to follow me for notices of future posts.

Much Love,
