Plan with me: February 2017 Weekly Layouts

Hey y'all it is so crazy to me that this month is almost over. The New Year just barely started, where did January and February go?!

Anyways I wanted to share my weekly layouts with you. These are all pre-pen in my Plum Paper Planner. I gotta tell you guys, I am LOVING this planner. I have so much fun planning and decorating my planner. It’s very therapeutic.

Ok well here is the first week.
Gorgeous right?! So basically this was my nephews birthday week, he is in heaven and would have been four. I didn’t want to be sad thinking about him so I did a happy mystical spread. I know it seems a little girly but it doesn’t matter, it made my heart rejoice and that’s all that matters.
So this fabulous kit was purchased on Etsy, the name of the shop is: SweetCheekyDesigns.  I highly recommend her shop, the quality of her stickers is great and most importantly she ships out quickly!

His birthday was February 2nd, we did a beautiful b-day celebration/tradition for him. He is deeply missed and never forgotten.
I made the cute paperclips. I just took extra decorative stickers and added it to some cardstock and hot glued them together. If you want to know how to make your own click here to go to that post.

The following week was my Breakfast at Tiffanny's Theme.
There isn't a single thing I don't like about this layout! It’s funny because I usually prefer the no white space planning style but this did not bother me one bit in fact I’m obsessed with how cute it turned out.

This kit was purchased from Etsy as well. This shops name is: MyQueenBeeDesigns. This kit is 100X more fabulous in person. The black glitter shines so beautifully. It's so girly and perfect.
As you will be able to see I have a pattern for stuff I like to keep track of. Mainly my work hours, meals and steps. That is on average what I will track. Sometimes I will change it up a bit but for the most part these are staples in my planner.

Ok then you have Valentine's week. You know I "had" to do a full V-Day layout.
This is so eye catching! It is definitely a no white space layout. I love how this turned out! BTW I hope you all had a fabulous V-Day!
This shop's name is: FormlessDesigns. She is fabulous, this was a 6 sheet kit and really the only thing it didn't include was date covers and washi but that's ok. I just got creative.
The washi was from a Michael's bundle I purchased. It was absolutely perfect for this layout. Red, pink and chocolate what isn't there not to like?

Ok you've made it to the last week in February.
This kit is from Planwithpizazz on Etsy, the kit is called Up up and away hot air balloon. I loved the color combinations.
As you can see I did a white space layout for this kit. It's funny because I normally don't do structured layouts either; for example, all checklists in the same column, full boxes and what not but lately it's been very structured. Check out January's layouts and you will see they're different. Click here if you want to check those out.
There you have all four weeks for this month. I hope you are all enjoying your planning, if you have a YouTube account or a blog like me please share it in the comments and I'd love to check it out.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Much Love,

Introducing "The Babe Cave"

Hey loves, hope you all are doing fabulous. I am super excited about today's post.

Here's the deal, for the past two months I have been working on my "Babe Cave". What is a babe cave you ask? The simple answer is that it's my happy place, my little oasis. It's my beauty room!

I have a true passion for makeup and all things girly. I wanted a place for all of my beauty items and a little place away from everything, where I can spend quality "Me Time".  Makeup to me is a mood booster, a creative outlet, a security blanket and just an overall feel good passion.

I wanted a place to relax, play, create and just enjoy. This is truly a dream come true for me. That's no exaggeration it's fact. At my age I finally have a makeup vanity that I am beyond obsessed with and it doesn't stop there, I also have a place to store all of my makeup and all of my beauty related items.

Warning this is going to be a very picture heavy post.

Here is what you see when you open the door to my room. I know, right?! The little girl in me is jumping up for joy. No, this isn't a teenager’s room; this is a makeup obsessed beauty lover’s paradise; who happens to be an adult.

These pictures are in natural light which is why they have the pink cast, due to the pink window curtains. As always I think pictures can only do so much but they don't truly do the room justice. It is way more breathe taking and amazing in person.

Being in my room makes me smile and I love every single little thing about it! Let me start out by saying that I wanted a traditional vanity, not a table with a Hollywood style mirror like all the beauty gurus have. I was going for a modernized vintage feel, cute and chic.

This gorgeous vanity is from Ikea, the stool was not included. If you are interested in getting your own just click here and it will take you to the Ikea website.

This was such a generous b-day/Christmas present from my hubby. He knew how bad I wanted it, so he made it happen.

The gorgeous stool was purchased at Hobby Lobby. I couldn’t find it on their website, but if you have a Hobby Lobby close by go check it out. It is so comfortable and it adds that modern twist I wanted to include.

The Target shelf is seriously my second favorite piece of furniture in my room. It is the perfect width and it has all of the compartments I need to store all of my makeup.  If you are interested in getting it yourself click here I got mine in white, as you can see.

I wanted to do a close-up of the shelf to show you the beautiful picture frames that my sister Cristina gave me, I LOVE THEM! The quotes in the pictures frames were DIY project's I did. The one on the left says "wake up and makeup" and the one of the right says "Home is where your makeup stash is"

Here is the full view of the left side of my wall. I won’t go into too many details as I don’t want this blog to be too ridiculously long. If you have any questions please feel free to leave them in the comments and I will make sure to answer them for you. I love love love my chandelier picture and my little corner unit; which btw was a DIY project. Once upon a time that was completely brown and I painted the table top white and spray painted the bottom silver.

My closet is open and fun. I have two old Ikea dressers that use to be in my sons room a long time ago, after changing out his room they were collecting dust in the utility room so I took them over and painted them white. They provide me so much storage. They are all super organized and spacious. I have my purses, wallets, makeup bags, brushes, sunglasses, more jewelry and even my ridicules nail polish collection.

The gorgeous lip art was done by one of my besties, Enisa who btw named my room "The Babe Cave". The tassels add a little pizazz to the closet so I really love those. The other picture frame is another DIY quote that says "Money can't buy you happiness but it can buy you makeup".

If you are curious what is on the right side of my vanity, not much yet. I do have a beautiful sign that says "Follow your dreams" with an arrow, I love its significance! Eventually I will add a little extra seating.

I got this beautiful mirror at Ross, it’s a stand-alone mirror and it’s the perfect size for this space. A girl has to make sure her outfit is on point, ya feel me?! Ha ha

The hubby purchased my rug at Home Depot just recently for Valentine’s Day. We had to order it online; it’s a 5X7 faux fur pink rug. It’s so comfortable and gorgeous!

And here you have it in its full glory. I couldn't be happier with it; it's truly my happy place!

I am truly grateful for the love and support my husband has given me in allowing me to turn one of our spare bedrooms into this little piece of heaven. I want to give a special thanks to my brother who installed a new light fixture in my room. I also want to give a huge shoutout to my besties Becci and Enisa for putting up with my picture overloads, for their input and also help. Enisa actually helped me paint this room and although it was not a fun process it was fun because I got to share it with her.

Ok one more thing before I go, I have suffered with insecurities my entire life. I have always wanted to be prettier, thinner and look like all those models in magazines and on TV but we have to learn to accept and love ourselves for who we are; be.YOU.tiful!

Thank you so much for stopping by!
