WitchFest 2016

This isn't deja vu, it happened again!

As mentioned last year it's my favorite sister tradition!

Once a year we dress up as witches along with many others and shop till we drop; we eat candy and participate in many Halloween activities. We do it every year.

If you go onto the Gardner Village website you can read all about this tradition.

This is just a snip bit about what you see:

“They come wearing elaborate costumes and pointy hats, ready to shop, eat, play and have a lot of witchy fun.”

Here is a picture of me right outside of my house, ready for this year's WitchFest!

This year I was a sassy blonde witch with what I call my
"Pretty Women" boots.
Witch Selfie for ya! ha ha
I did a vampy smokey eyeshadow look with fabulous lashes and dark gray lips.
I love this picture but one of my sisters is missing...don't fret
Here she is with me at Gardner Village.
She's a "good witch" all in white. I love how she looked!
Just so you all know, her hat was made from scratch. We bought and made it completely from cardboard, fabric, lace and a boa. It turned out amazing!
She snapped this pic of me and I love it.
I was so hot in that wig though...man it was a hot day!
And here you have my full Coven!
WitchFest 2016

Here are the past 4 years; 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016

Last but certainly not least I wanted to show the evolution of our youngest little witch; my niece, Gabriela. She has been a part of our annual witch’s night out from the beginning. It is so crazy how fast she is growing up. Next thing you know she will be just as tall as us or even taller.
I love my little witch!

Thank you SO much for your continued support!

MAC Selena Collection!

Guys this was an experience for the books. I took the day off knowing that it was going to be a crazy day, I "had" to get my hands on some of this collection.

Story Time:

I was in High School when Selena died, it was so tragic. I loved her so much! She was the ULTIMATE Latina bomb shell! She had it all, looks, talent; girl could sing! She was overall kind and down to earth. There wasn't anything not to like about her.

Music has always been a passion of mine and I sure did love her voice, still do! Anyways her death was super tragic and horrible. I admire the Quintanilla family for working so hard to keep her memory alive for all of us fans. The most recent of course is the MAC Selena Collection!

Ok guys now for the release day story that took place on 10/06/16!
As you can see from this snapchat our adventure started extremely early!
We drove 45 minutes away just to avoid as much of the crazy crowds as possible.
We went to the Layton Hills Mall here in UT.
We got there so early that the mall wasn't even open.
We were freezing but it didn't matter one bit!
I have to give Macy's at Layton Hills Mall mad props!
They were SUPER organized.
This is one of the signs they had; they were in every entry door.
We stalked every door until a security guard opened the doors for us.
The first thing he asked me was "Are you here for the Selena Collections?"
I must have had that stamped all over my face, ha ha!
My sister Marlene, who I had this adventure with; ran for basically both of us
because I couldn't keep up, it was hilarious! We were determined to be the first in line.
You guessed it; we were the first ones in line!!!
We "had" to record our victory with a selfie!
First in line felt amazing! We are hardcore fans and waking up super early paid off!
BTW here we are bare faced and all to a makeup event! ha ha!
As I mentioned The Layton Hills Mall staff, was very organized.
They came out and cheered us on they even gave us waters and candy.
They also gave us these forms to fill out our personal info
and all of the products that we wanted.
The wait was FINALLY over! We got in!
All that was left was to shop until we dropped!
Can we take a quick look at this MAC girl?!
She was decked out dressed like Selena, from her outfit to her hair!
She was so sweet and cool!
And here it is...our adventure for the Selena Collection paid off.
Complete success! Two crazy Selena fans, got to partake in the fun.
It was incredible, the Macy's MAC counter
was jamming out to her music and selling it like crazy.
They had purple festive balloons and were taking pictures of us.
This is an experience I will NEVER forget!
I must admit that I got a little emotional, no joke! Don't judge LOL!
This was the amazing collection and display!
This is what I bought for myself out of the collection.
Keep in mind that I actually bought stuff for a friend and for my sister
so I technically got a lot more, but this is what I kept for myself.
I have to be honest, it hurt a little to actually use my lipstick.
Yes, I'm a nerd, but I wanted to keep it new....well kinda.
It is my favorite so far! Amor Prohibido is a beautiful brownish nude shade.
This shade is called Dreaming of You and it's a deep burgundy.
This is the only matte shade in the collection.
It's also beautiful of course!

Ok that is all that I have tried from the collection so far. I have no intentions on using my brush, I purchased it for memorabilia purposes only. Silly, yes but who cares.
My bronzer/blush I've yet to use called Techno Cumbia, I will be using this but it's hard to want to use it because her name will eventually rub off. The compact is cute and at the end of the day I can just keep the packaging to remind myself of this fun crazy little adventure.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Much Love,

September Monthly Favorites

Welcome back, today I wanted to share some of my monthly favorites for this month.

My first favorite is my MK Reversible Tote!
I sure as heck didn't pay $268, nope! I got a killer deal at Marshalls!
Not Only did it come with this gorgeous Navy Tote it also includes the
Wrist-let, which honestly I use more.
Here is the interior plus the wrist-let.
Next up is a cleanser that my sister has been recommending for a long time.
This is the Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser.
Guys if you have sensitive, acne prone skin, I highly recommend this cleanser!
It has done wonder for me.

Next up is the Garnier Fructis Wonder Waves
I love the lazy beach wave look and this makes it super easy for me to get a
fabulous look without any effort at all.

Next up is the Loreal carbon black voluminous mascara
This is a favorite drug store inexpensive mascara.
I have mine in the waterproof version but I love the original formula too.

Last but certainly not least, I am beyond late to the game but I am obsessed with the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Concealer.
Mine is in the color MED-LIGHT Neutral.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I had a blast sharing some of my favorites, let me know what you have been liking so that I can check it out.

Happy Thursday!

I missed you, Life update and Home Office Tour!

It is crazy to think that it's been almost two months since my last post. Guys I am truly sorry, it has been a little bit crazy in my world.

Life update*
  • I got promoted at work!!! I am beyond happy in my new position but it's taken some time to familiarize myself with new tasks and mainly my hours of operations.
  •  I remodeled my office, its SOOOOO cute! New promotion meant new changes/ revamping my work space. I still work from home!
  • My son started High School! A kid going back to school is always a bit hectic, right?!
  • We had a flood in our basement and things just got uglier from there. I had to get that fixed obviously, had to also fix my kitchen plumbing OH and it doesn't stop there...nope! My upstairs bathroom decided to fall apart as well. Needless to say that my entire houses plumbing decided to go POOP on me! ha ha ha, no pun intended.
  • Last but certainly not least as mentioned not too long ago I had a health scare, things have improved a bit but months later and I am still not 100%. I get frustrated with not being back to normal, but I am thankful that it's not a terminal illness.
These are by no means any excuses I just wanted to bring you guys up to date.

Let me share some pics of my cute new office since that part makes me happy. I am pretty bummed that I lost my before pictures, like seriously how does that happen? I have one picture, not the best picture but it gives you an idea of the horrible blue on my walls. Take my word for it...it was this HORRIBLE Bright blue color (This picture doesn't even show how bright it was)!

In this space I also had a ton of makeup products it made my small space super cluttered.
My new space is SUPER organized and beautiful. I took all of my beauty related items out (that's another projects in the works so stay tuned) I am so in love with my new office.
OK, enough talking let me show it off.

Don't you love this wall color? HA HA HA?!
True story; when I bought this house 11 years ago, I let my son pick the wall color because at the time it was his toy room. Guess that's what happens when you let a 4 year old pick wall colors.
I hate painting hence the reason I never changed it.  Any who...
This is what you see when you open the door to my newly revamped office!
To the left you will  see my open closet, I bought these Ikea shelf's
and then organized the crap out of the closet.
At the doorway looking toward the right this is your view.
This is my desk/work area! Sorry about the lighting!
My bestie got me these beautiful sheer curtains, I'm in love!
The curtain rods are silver with beautiful glass nobs at the end.
The new decor above my desk!
Next to my desk I have my printer stand, another Ikea shelf and my mini organizer rack.
Here is a better view of my entry way/exit.
My office is the smallest room in my house but it's perfect for my needs!
Lastly I will leave you with a closer picture of my bookshelf which I purchased at Hobby Lobby with my Eiffel Tower Picture, which BTW was the focus on my full room. The black, white and silver theme. I also love the Eiffel tower trinkets around my office, especially my little trunk on the bookshelf; it holds old letters, cards and memories. OK, that’s all folks; my office is 100% complete!

You've made it to my last update! I am still actively planning in my Erin Condren but probably won’t show you old spreads, only new spreads. I have planned a little ahead so you will be seeing more layouts in the future. I do plan on changing to another planner all together in 2017; I will discuss that in another post.

That my dears bring you all up to date. Thank you SO SO Much for stopping by today! Please let me know if there is anything you want me to post about; you know if you have any requests.

Much Love,
