September Monthly Favorites

Welcome back, today I wanted to share some of my monthly favorites for this month.

My first favorite is my MK Reversible Tote!
I sure as heck didn't pay $268, nope! I got a killer deal at Marshalls!
Not Only did it come with this gorgeous Navy Tote it also includes the
Wrist-let, which honestly I use more.
Here is the interior plus the wrist-let.
Next up is a cleanser that my sister has been recommending for a long time.
This is the Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser.
Guys if you have sensitive, acne prone skin, I highly recommend this cleanser!
It has done wonder for me.

Next up is the Garnier Fructis Wonder Waves
I love the lazy beach wave look and this makes it super easy for me to get a
fabulous look without any effort at all.

Next up is the Loreal carbon black voluminous mascara
This is a favorite drug store inexpensive mascara.
I have mine in the waterproof version but I love the original formula too.

Last but certainly not least, I am beyond late to the game but I am obsessed with the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Concealer.
Mine is in the color MED-LIGHT Neutral.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I had a blast sharing some of my favorites, let me know what you have been liking so that I can check it out.

Happy Thursday!

L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation

Hey guys I hope you all had a fantastic long 4th of July weekend. I know I did!

Today I wanted to share my own personal review and thoughts for the L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation.
This product retails for $12.99 and comes with 1.0 FL. OZ

Description:
(from the L'Oreal Website)

Discover the new pro finish of longwear: up to 24 hour wear with a hydrating glow. Lightweight and creamy, this long lasting foundation goes on smooth with a glow finish that lasts. With medium coverage, it instantly hides imperfections for a clear complexion. The hydrating foundation with SPF is ideal for normal to dry skin.

It comes in 12 different shades.
201 – Classic Ivory
202 – Creamy Natural
203 – Nude Beige
204 – Natural Buff
205 – Natural Beige
206 – Buff Beige
207 – Sand Beige
208 – Sun Beige
209 – Caramel Beige
210 – Classic Tan
211 – Creme Cafe
212 – Cocoa

The color I picked up is 205 in Natural Beige.  This is actually a great summer color for me but definitely a shade darker than my regular color.

So this product has so many mixed reviews but I know I really wanted to try it. For starters I will remind you that I do have combo skin. My t-zone get oily but the rest of my face is normal to even dry at times.  I love love love the natural finish!

PROS:
  • Lightweight
  • Easy to apply
  • Blends well
  • Long Lasting
  • Great Pigmentation
  • Affordable
  • Noncomodegenic
  • SPF15
 CONS:
  • Sheer Coverage (Medium Coverage at most)
  • Can cause break outs. I know I broke out a bit.
  •  Poor shade selection
  •  Emphasizes pores.
So as you can see there are more pros then cons however the cons are pretty bad unfortunately! I actually really like this product and I'm sad that it broke me out. I am torn about continuing to try it for that very reason.  So I hope this helped you guys thinking of getting it. Please know that I have super acne prone skin, so if you don't give it a try.

Have a fantastic week!

Let's start with the L'Oreal Lumi Cushion Foundation
I am super late to the game in trying this foundation out. I freaking love it. It retails for $16.99 and has 0.51 oz. Personally I think it's a lot for such a small amount of foundation BUT it's beautiful and worth every penny.

Next up is my new favorite drug store liquid lipstick. It's the Milani Amore Matte Lip Creme in 15Gorgeous
I did an entire post on this, click here to check it out. This is a MUST have product in everyone's collection. I can't wait to buy the other colors.

Next up is another Milani product. It's the single eye shadow in Bella Taupe
Not only is this a beautiful eye shadow, it is my perfect eyebrow color. I have been using this for filling in my eyebrows and it's perfection. I love everything about this. Don't you guys love finding a product great for multi-tasking?
This retails for $4.19 0.05oz of product.

Last up is the Revlon Illuminance Creme Shadow/Ombre in Not just nudes
This is by no means a new product but now with the hotter months I have pulled it out as a light wash on the eyelids and I love it. I do usually set it with a similar shadow color, I use it more as a base and it's perfection.  This retails for $5.99 0.12 oz of product.

Ok guys that covers all of my favorites for the month. As usual if you have monthly favorites of your own please share them with me. I'd love to check them out.

Have a fantastic week,

October Monthly Favorites 2016

Hey guys I'm back. Welcome to November! I had a wonderful long birthday weekend. I had a blast on Halloween and celebrating my birthday on November first.

I don't have too many favorites for October but I will have a ton for November, I just I know it! I got a few things for my birthday and I will be doing some reviews, swatches and stuff coming up, so stay tuned.

Ok let's start out with the Bath and Body Works Candle in Caramel Pumpkin Swirl
This candle is PERFECT for this time of the year, absolutely amazing! I highly recommend this yummy candle. It makes your entire house smell divine!

Next up is the Dr. Brandt Anti-Aging Mattifying Lotion
I got this a while back in an ipsy bag but just opened it and started using it and I love it. I wear it over my regular moisturizer as a base and then my primer. With all those steps that I take it really helps reduce my oily t-zone during the day. I fully plan on buying the full size.

Next up I have the Maybelline Master Prime Blur + Smooth
I wanted to try a drug store primer because I really only own high end ones. I have to say I was pretty impressed with this one. It did a good job at blurring my imperfections and prolonged my makeup. I think this is a great drugstore option and would recommend it for sure.

Next up is the Loreal Telescopic Shocking Extensions Mascara
This mascara is not new by any means but I wanted to try out a new one and picked this one up. I do the water proof version because my eyelashes point straight down and this helps keep the curl. I love the longevity and the formula. I think its fantastic and fully plan on repurchasing. This was a great discovery for me!

Those are all of my favorites for October but I did want to share a few Halloween pictures with you guys to finish off today's post.
My son was Doc Brown from Back to the Future, I was a mummy and My Husband was the Explorer that found the mummy. Ha ha ha
Here is a closeup of my mummy makeup/costume.
And here are all of my siblings and spouses and kids. It was so fun!

That does it for me today. Thank you so much for stopping by!

Much Love,

May Monthly Favorites

This is one of my favorite videos to watch on YouTube so I decided I would make it a monthly post. It is insane that tomorrow is the last day of May. This year is going by so quickly. This was definitely a great month to try out so many new products though. Here are a few that I used and have loved this month.

Jaclyn Hill Favorites collaboration with Morphe:
I wanted to start off with the very anticipated Jaclyn Hill Favorites collaboration with Morphe. I was so happy when I heard that Morphe was relaunching it because I didn't get it the first time around.  This is limited edition palette and I knew I had to have it because Jaclyn Hill is perfection! The palette itself is super pretty. If you couldn't get this palette don't fret my friends you can get the individual colors (please refer to picture for color reference). You can purchase these colors on the Morphe website for just $2 each. Don't let the price fool you, I will sum it up by telling you guys that these are very pigmented colors, they are all incredibly smooth and they don't have crazy fallout everywhere.  I love this palette to the point that I ordered other individual shades which I love just as much.

Kathleen Lights Collaboration with ColourPop:
My next favorite is from the beautifully talented Kathleen Lights, another gorgeous YouTuber. Can you guys tell I have a little addiction watching YouTube?! ha ha ha. Any ways she did an awesome collaboration with ColourPop. If you have never tried their products I urge you too. They are amazing in every aspect of the word. They are super pigmented and very creamy. This is not my first ColourPop purchase and I know it won't be my last. This made it in my favorites this month because I have been wearing the heck out these shadows. My favorite shadow is the one she named after herself (Kathleen Lights) it's SO pretty!

Lush Lip Scrub:
The Lush lip scrub has done wonders for my lips. I am unfortunate in that I have horribly dry lips, this product helps me so much. I use it at least once or twice a week. I am huge Lush fan in general, all of their products are natural. They have a few fun flavors to pick from too. I even got one of my sisters into their stuff.
L'oreal Magic Lumi:
This was a product suggested by my friend Becci and I love it so much! I do not use this product as a primer as it's meant to be used. I have normal to oily skin, meaning my T-zone is oily however the rest of my face is normal. I actually use this product with my full coverage foundations to sheer it out and to add that gorgeous luminosity to my skin. I highly recommend it.

Maybelline Fit me Matte + Poreless:
I love this powder. It is finely milled, it's super silky soft. I use this to set my foundation and through out the day to touch up when needed. It does not cake up one bit, it's wonderful. I especially love the price. Can't go wrong with this powder, sometimes I even use it alone as my foundation. This is a great drugstore product that I use instead of my Makeup Forever high end powder.

Beauty Secrets:
There is not much to say about this product other than it's great. I love how it smells (like coconuts). It keeps my cuticles nice and moisturized. I get this at Sally's Beauty Supplies. I have recently been getting my nails done, and this product has helped my cuticles from looking thick and nasty.

Revlon Lash Adhesive:

This is my holy grail eyelash glue and the fact that it came out in black, sold me. I love it just as much if not a little more than the original. I have tried a lot of eyelash glues and this is the best, hands down.I am allergic to latex and this product doesn't have it and it doesn't irritate my eyes.

Morphe Contour Brush:
Ok this is one of the first (but not last) Morphe brushes I have ever owned and I am WOWED by how soft and amazing this is. My contour game is on point thanks to this little guy! I bought a set of Morphe brushes, so stay tuned for that brush review.

Real Techniques Blending and Lash-brow groomer:

Real Technique brushes are by far one of my favorite brushes out there. They are extremely affordable and awesome. They are so soft and do exactly what they are meant to do. These are two of my newer Real Technique brushes and I am LOVING them!

Benefit Roller Lash:
You guys made it to the end, this one is the last but certainly not least. I have used it non stop since getting it. I love it. It does not flake it's very black and it helps keep my curl. This one is a little pricy but hey, sometimes you do get what you pay for. I personally love it!

Thank you SO much for hanging out with me today, sorry this post was a bit long. I will try to have fewer favorites in the future. Feel free to give me any suggestions you might have. Thank you for all of your love and support, please don't forget to follow and have a fabulous weekend!

Much Love,
