February Monthly Favorites 2016

You guys may want to grab a snack, this post will be long. I tried out and fell in love with a bunch of products this month. I will keep everything as brief as possible. The good news is that I have several full posts on some of these products so I will provide the links if you want to read more about them.

Next up is the FABULOUS Physicians Formula: Butter Bronzer

You guys, not only is this product absolotly breath taking to look at which means nothing but this product is AMAZING! It smells devine and litterally goes on like butter! It gives the most beautiful sheen and bronzed goddess effect OMG...YOU NEED THIS! There is not one negetive thing I have to say about this product. It isn't orange so too warm it's litterally perfection!

Next is a vital and important tool in the beauty regemine. It's my mini travel size Tweezerman Tweezers.

If you have never tried tweezerman and you want an amazing product, it's truly a must! It grabs every unwanted hair with such ease and they are sharp and last for years! I keep mine as you can see above in it's little case, it keeps them from going dull.

Next is another product I did a full post on and that I keep raving about.
It is the Manic Panic NYC Dreamtone Flawless Foundation and Color Corrector.

This is an amazing product that I wish I would have known about years ago. Having a foundation that is too dark for you is no longer a problem. Read all about it here.

I saved the bulk of my favorites for last because they are ALL from WetnWild!
Not only do I love how affordable all of these products are I love that they are spectacular in every way! Why spend a fortune on makeup when these products are just as amazing if not in some cases better than the expensive brands!

The Contouring Palette in Dulce de Leche is so buttery and beautiful, it has been compared to the Marc Jacobs contour duo. I liked the original formula but this new one is 10x better! I highly recommend it guys! If you want to read my old post click here.

Keeping with the Contouring products I freaking love this dual ended stick, I have mine in light medium and it blends beautifully all over my face. I am so impressed with this brand lately! You just have to try it out for yourself to see how awesome this is.

Next are the highlighting and concealing pens. I own two, in Posing Nude and in I-vory into you? Guys I've spent so much money on these type of products and honestly these are just as good. I compare it to my BareMinerals Stroke of light eye brightener. I will keep on buying these to save a fortune.

Ok now the next three are WetnWild brushes:

 The large eyeshadow brush

All of these brushes are great but these 3 have been my most used as you can probably see in my picture above. They are super affordable and work wonders. I have all of the specifics and details on these on this post.

Ok guys and the last product I want to share that I've been loving this month is the:
WetnWild 1Step Wonder Gel Nail Polish

I have mine Condensed Milk and love it so much! It doesn't need a UV lamp to dry and it's a beautiful color. It stayed on my nails for 5 days without chipping. I highly recommend it.

New Wet n Wild Brushes

Hey there, hope you all had a fantastic weekend full of love and friendships! I know I did.

Today I wanted to share that as my husband likes to remind me I have issues....ha ha ha I do not need more brushes if I am being 100% honest with myself, but I can't help it. For starters these are SO cute and they are SUPER affordable. None of that matter's though, what matter is that they are fantastic!

These are new to Wet n Wild 

And they claim to all be:

 Cruelty-Free, Gluten-Free, and Vegan
Two-toned synthetic Polymax fibers that mimics the consistency of natural hairs
Ergonomic Handle for Total Control

These can be found in several retail stores, I happen to find mine at Walgreen's but you can also get them online. 

I want them all and I will be on a hunt for them, but for now let me share the ones I do own and my experience with them.

 I have used this to set my entire face with all kinds of powders and it does the job beautifully. This is such a soft brush and feels great on the face.

Contour Brush
This brush retails for only .99

I was the most excited about this brush above all of them. This brush is seriously so nice. I use it on light to medium coverage foundations and it works great. It doesn't leave streaks. It leaves your face flawless. I haven't tried it with any full coverage foundations yet, but I think it would work just as good. 

Small Stipple Brush
Retails for $2.99

Description:
Talk about a double identity! This small stippling brush has two lengths of fibers: shorter, to pick up product, and longer, to blend it perfectly into your complexion. Designed to create a sheer, streak-free application.

I have used it in two different ways and they worked out great. My favorite way to use this is actually to apply my highlighter. It applies it beautifully! Or the other way is to apply my primer. Face primer that is. It did a fabulous job at it. 

Large Eyeshadow Brush
This retails for .99

I was seriously surprised on how much I loved this brush. It applied my shadow with so much ease and it is so soft it feels great on my eyes! 

Crease Brush
This retails for .99

This is by far my favorite brush of them all. I purchased 3 total because I love it so much. This does an amazing job at blending my eye shadow and it does it with so much ease. I own a Lancome 17 blending brush that is WAY more expensive but just as amazing as this dollar one! Save that cash and get a few of these!

Small Concealer Brush
This retails for .99

Description:

As you have probably noticed I don't always use the brushes for their intended purpose. I have used this with my Colourpop eye shadows (cream shadows) and it's amazing! I think this will be a great multi-tasking brush.



So these are all of the ones I have found and have been able to get thus far. They did come out with 17 total and I own 7 of them. Guys I recommend you give them  a chance. These are absolutely worth it! They are wonderful inexpensive brushes. Great for newbies to makeup, anyone on a budget or for girls like myself that just can't ever seem to have enough brushes.

September Monthly Favorites 2015

Why hello there guys, can you believe September is already pretty much over? How crazy is that? Seriously the older I get the faster time seems to go by, it's nuts!
Anywho, I love this month because it's the start of the Fall/Autumn Season, my absolute favorite time of the year!
Here are my monthly favorites for this month:

You might be thinking, not your planner again?! Nope it's the new cover I am LOVING and the month and day tabs. I am so sorry that the picture above is horrible, I couldn't get a good pic this month.

Now for the tabs, I ordered the silver edition as seen pictured above. I did that so it matched the coils of my planner ☺. (click on picture below to view sellers shop).

Ok next up is the much LOVED and highly used Urban Decay Smoky palette:

This is by far in my opinion the best and must have Naked palette out there. I won't go into too much detail on this on because I did a full post and review, check it out. Click here to see it.

Next up is the Becca Champagne Pop colab with Jaclyn Hill.

Next up is a brush from Sigma. The small eye liner-E10 brush

For all that know me, you know that I love me some eye liner! This brush is so perfect! I love EVERYTHING about it. You can purchase it on the sigma's website like I did for $14. This has a 5 out of 5 rating because it's amazeballs!

Next up is the MAC blacktrack fluidline gel eyeliner.

I'm not going to say it's the best gel liner I have ever tried BUT I do love it. It doesn't smear, it stays on all day and it's super easy to apply, especially with the brush mentioned above. You can buy this at a MAC store or online like I did. It's $17.50 but it lasts forever!

Next up is another pretty cool brush. This one is a Sephora brand. The Pro Angled Shadow Brush#13

When I am in a hurry and want to throw on some definition in my crease and don't want to stress over the application I reach for this brush. It makes getting in the crease super easy and because it's fluffy it blends my eye shadow out beautifully! This can be purchased at Sephora online or in stores for $20 I actually got it for $11 on sale. Hurry and pick yours up, not sure how long the sale will last.

Next up is a fragrance from Givenchy: Amarige

This is a repurchase for me, this perfume will always be in my collection. I have a wonderful memories associated with this perfume. My aunt who passed away from cancer was the first one to introduce me to this fragrance and to give me my first bottle. It will forever remind me of her. I miss her so much!

Here are the notes about this perfume:

Amarige is the symbol of femininity, radiating and bursting with happiness, a zest for life and generosity. The Amarige woman is radiant and open-minded; her heart-felt joy is evident from her spontaneous, charming smile. Inspired by that very same woman this perfume contains a cheerful, tender and sensual flower bouquet (Gardenia, Mimosa, Precious woods).

It's a lovely scent and I would recommend it to everyone.

Last but certainly not least we have the GORGEOUS Ofra Liquid Lipstick in the shade Miami Fever This is a Colab with the beautiful Kathleen Lights on YouTube.

I  have been wearing this lipstick NON stop, literally! I love EVERYTHING about this liquid lipstick, the color is stunning, it last forever and it's not over drying on the lips!

I love how it looks on my complexion it's perfect guys. It is a limited edition so get yours before they are gone. I purchased mine on the Ofra website.

Ipsy August 2015

Hey loves, how are you all doing? Today I am going to share my ipsy bag for August 2015. I actually really like this months bag! The theme this month is prep school, perfect for this time of the year and with kiddos going back to school. I'm personally not going to school but that's ok, I like the bag and the theme.
It's funny ipsy is always hit and miss on a month to month bases but luckily this month was a hit for me.

Let's start with the actual bag, it is so cute! I love the houndstooth print but if I am being 100% honest the pink zipper makes the bag so stinking cute! I love the black, white and pink combo. The bag itself is made from this plastic material, which honestly I prefer because I can always wipe it down.

Next up is the: Marsk Pro Line Eye Shadow Brush
What it claims to do:

What I think: 
I don't know about you guys, but I LOVE getting brushes in my ipsy bag. I have been able to use this brush a few times and I actually really like it. It's soft and perfect for packing on the eye shadow on your eyelids. I used it completely dry and also wet it with a setting mist and each time it worked wonderful.

Next up is the: Pixi Beauty Bronzer in Summertime
What it claims to do:
This bronzing powder gives your complexion the warmth and luminosity of naturally sunkissed skin. Hydrating, silky-smooth & long-wearing, it also protects against free radicals. Contains Vitamin E to protect the skin and mica, which provides dense natural pigment.

Ok here is the deal with this product, this was actually not technically a part of my ipsy bag this month is was a points perk redemption. I haven't opened, swatched or tested this yet. I have so many bronzers that I didn't want to open this one when I have others to use up. PLUS it was sent to me for redeeming points. This is my first Product so I am excited to try it out.

Next up we have: Doucce Ultra Precision Eye Liner in black
What it claims to do:
The Liner is an ultra precise moulded plastic eye pencil that provides a soft application that lasts. The smooth and velvety waterproof formula glides on easily for seamless blending.

What I think:
The pencil glides on extremely easily, it is definitely soft. I used it 3 days in a row in my waterline and it seemed to stay on there all day. I really like this pencil and I love that I got it in black, an actual practical color that I can use.

Next up: Marc Anthony Nourishing Argan Oil of Morocco Oil Treatment
What it claims to do: 
This treatment is a lightweight oil used daily for strong, glossy, frizz-free hair. Whether your hair is curly, straight, thick or thin, this Argan Oil Treatment will become a daily staple in your beauty regimen.

What I think: 
I used this after I showered with my hair wet for the first time and I let my hair dry naturally. I noticed that it really did dry with very little frizz. I then used it the following day but waited for my hair to be damp verses fully wet and again it did a fabulous job drying my hair with little to no frizz. Overall I really like Marc Anthony hair products and this is no exception. I will continue to use it.

Next up is the: Hikari Cosmetics in Merlot
What it claims to do:
Check out Hikari’s collection of gorgeous, high-shine matte lip glosses. With these high-pigment lip glosses you can wear them alone or layer them over your favorite lipstick to create intense new colors. They will give you the perfect sultry lip with just the right amount of shine!

What I think:
This is a beautiful lip gloss. I love my Hikari lipstick so I had high hopes for this already. This is a gorgeous fall color. It is a thicker gloss and a little sticky but I don't mind that at all. My favorite lip glosses come in a tube form and are from Lancome (juicy tubes) and those are extremely thick and sticky so any ways yea the Hikari isn't that bad at all. I love the sleek packaging and the doe foot applicator.

Last but certainly not least we have: Trust Fund Beauty Nail Polish in Elegantly Wasted
What it claims:
”If you enjoy yourself, it’s not really a waste - it’s your prerogative.” Trust Fund Beauty is a quick-drying, chip resistant polish comes in cute bottles complete with some seriously sassy names. Plus, it’s 7-free, non-toxic, vegan, and cruelty-free. Don’t mind if we do!

What I think:
for starters I LOVE the name...ha ha ha. I also equally love the color. It's a mix of a soft grayish purple. It dried SUPER quick and lasted without chipping on me 3 days, not the best but honestly not the worst. I've had polishes chip on me on the first day of application. I love that it's non-toxic, vegan and cruelty free!.

Here are my nails with two coats of this beautiful color. I love this and will plan on using it a lot.

Morphe Brushes Review Set 690- 6 Piece Delux Contour Set and the M460 - 1 1/2" FLAT CONTOUR

Hey lovelies this is my first set of Morphe Brushes! Man I have so much to say about these, but first let me give you the basics.  You can get this set on their website it is normally $45.99 but if you go on there now, they have a sale for $22.99, I don't know how long the sale will last (SORRY). I didn't purchase these brushes from their website, I actually purchased my set off of Hautelook.

Ok so now let's talk about the quality of these brushes. Oh my goodness these are awesome, seriously amazing. There isn't a single one I don't like. The quality is amazing especially considering the price! These are all synthetic brushes that are super soft to the touch and blend your makeup product so beautifully! I have owned them for a little over a month and have washed them and haven't noticed them shed one bit.  My favorites so far are the Flat Contour Brush (hopefully you saw that on my May Monthly Favorites post). The Round Contour Brush, the Mini Round Buffer and the Mini Pointed Contour. Those have been my favorites only because I have been using them the most, but I have tried and loved all of them. You can use these brushes with Cream, liquid or powder products. I've used them on all types and they work wonders. I was surprised that these felt like the same quality as my Sigma brushes. I plan on getting more in the near future.
