August 2015 Monthly Favorites!

Hello lovelies how are you all doing today? I can't believe it's already Monthly favorites time. Today is the last day of August, like my goodness, this year is going by so quickly it's insane!
Anywho here are my monthly favorites, yep and one repeat from last month. I've been wearing it so much that it had to make another appearance.
Let's start with what I think is my new favorite all time candle from Bath and Body Works COCONUT LEAVES...OMG its AMAZING! This sent is delish!
It says that it's A Tantalixingly tropical mix of coconut milk, macademia nuts and fresh grren sugarcane.

Next up is the Makeup Forever Pro Finish Powder in  the shade 120
This is such a beautiful powder. I get extra oily in the summer months, and I love that I can throw this into my purse and touch up whenever I feel I need it without looking like a cake face. It is so soft and smooth, it's a must have product.

Next up we have Maybelline Dream Bronze BB
Click here for a full review!

Next up is the Lorac Heartbreaker palette. Click here to see a full review. This is the perfect summer palette. It's been fun.
Another must have summer item is this Maybelline the Falsies Flared waterproof mascara.
I have some pretty stubborn lashes that always point straight down. I use waterproof mascara year round to get them to stay up and pretty. I like this mascara a lot.
I try not to do repeats but somehow this one snuck in. I just love this color so much! It's the NYX butter lipstick in BLS17 POPS EXPLOSIF. The formula is so creamy and soft it's such a beautiful lipstick.
Next up is the Wet n Wild Contouring Palette in Caramel Toffee

This is such an inexpensive beautiful product, I plan on doing a full review very soon on this so please stay tuned. Just a heads up, it's SO worth checking it out!

Ok the last favorite for this month is the REVO lip balm in Strawberry!
I honestly think this is my new favorite lip balm of life. If it wasn't for me owning a ton of lip balms I would buy more of these. I completely plan on buying more when I get done with the rest I have. If you haven't tried them, do it! They do not disappoint!

Ok my loves, I am SO excited for September as it brings with it the fall season, my absolute favorite time of the year!

Ipsy August 2015

Hey loves, how are you all doing? Today I am going to share my ipsy bag for August 2015. I actually really like this months bag! The theme this month is prep school, perfect for this time of the year and with kiddos going back to school. I'm personally not going to school but that's ok, I like the bag and the theme.
It's funny ipsy is always hit and miss on a month to month bases but luckily this month was a hit for me.
Let's start with the actual bag, it is so cute! I love the houndstooth print but if I am being 100% honest the pink zipper makes the bag so stinking cute! I love the black, white and pink combo. The bag itself is made from this plastic material, which honestly I prefer because I can always wipe it down.
Next up is the: Marsk Pro Line Eye Shadow Brush
What it claims to do:
These bristles have been precisely shaped to create the perfect eye look. Whether you’re going for subtle or loud – this secret weapon of a brush will execute the perfect look when paired with MARSK Mineral Eyeshadows! What a combination

What I think:
I don't know about you guys, but I LOVE getting brushes in my ipsy bag. I have been able to use this brush a few times and I actually really like it. It's soft and perfect for packing on the eye shadow on your eyelids. I used it completely dry and also wet it with a setting mist and each time it worked wonderful.
Next up is the: Pixi Beauty Bronzer in Summertime
What it claims to do:
This bronzing powder gives your complexion the warmth and luminosity of naturally sunkissed skin. Hydrating, silky-smooth & long-wearing, it also protects against free radicals. Contains Vitamin E to protect the skin and mica, which provides dense natural pigment.

Ok here is the deal with this product, this was actually not technically a part of my ipsy bag this month is was a points perk redemption. I haven't opened, swatched or tested this yet. I have so many bronzers that I didn't want to open this one when I have others to use up. PLUS it was sent to me for redeeming points. This is my first Product so I am excited to try it out.
Next up we have: Doucce Ultra Precision Eye Liner in black
What it claims to do:
The Liner is an ultra precise moulded plastic eye pencil that provides a soft application that lasts. The smooth and velvety waterproof formula glides on easily for seamless blending.

What I think:
The pencil glides on extremely easily, it is definitely soft. I used it 3 days in a row in my waterline and it seemed to stay on there all day. I really like this pencil and I love that I got it in black, an actual practical color that I can use.
Next up: Marc Anthony Nourishing Argan Oil of Morocco Oil Treatment
What it claims to do:
This treatment is a lightweight oil used daily for strong, glossy, frizz-free hair. Whether your hair is curly, straight, thick or thin, this Argan Oil Treatment will become a daily staple in your beauty regimen.
Created with Mediterranean Olive Oil and Moroccan Argan Oil – the ancestral beauty secret of Morocco – it deeply penetrates to fortify, protect and condition hair. Vitamin E and Shea Butter hydrate and soften.

What I think:
I used this after I showered with my hair wet for the first time and I let my hair dry naturally. I noticed that it really did dry with very little frizz. I then used it the following day but waited for my hair to be damp verses fully wet and again it did a fabulous job drying my hair with little to no frizz. Overall I really like Marc Anthony hair products and this is no exception. I will continue to use it.
Next up is the: Hikari Cosmetics in Merlot
What it claims to do:
Check out Hikari’s collection of gorgeous, high-shine matte lip glosses. With these high-pigment lip glosses you can wear them alone or layer them over your favorite lipstick to create intense new colors. They will give you the perfect sultry lip with just the right amount of shine!

What I think:
This is a beautiful lip gloss. I love my Hikari lipstick so I had high hopes for this already. This is a gorgeous fall color. It is a thicker gloss and a little sticky but I don't mind that at all. My favorite lip glosses come in a tube form and are from Lancome (juicy tubes) and those are extremely thick and sticky so any ways yea the Hikari isn't that bad at all. I love the sleek packaging and the doe foot applicator.
Last but certainly not least we have: Trust Fund Beauty Nail Polish in Elegantly Wasted
What it claims:
”If you enjoy yourself, it’s not really a waste - it’s your prerogative.” Trust Fund Beauty is a quick-drying, chip resistant polish comes in cute bottles complete with some seriously sassy names. Plus, it’s 7-free, non-toxic, vegan, and cruelty-free. Don’t mind if we do!

What I think:
for starters I LOVE the name...ha ha ha. I also equally love the color. It's a mix of a soft grayish purple. It dried SUPER quick and lasted without chipping on me 3 days, not the best but honestly not the worst. I've had polishes chip on me on the first day of application. I love that it's non-toxic, vegan and cruelty free!.
Here are my nails with two coats of this beautiful color. I love this and will plan on using it a lot.

That's all folks ;)

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

DIY Stickers plus FREE Fall/Autumn stickers for you!

Hello and welcome back to my blog. Today we will discuss an easy and fun way to create your own stickers PLUS I have created a Fall/Autumn Layout for you guys! YAY for free stickers♥

You will need:
Word
Avery 81/2"X11" Shipping Labels
and a color printer.

Let's Begin!
You will need to find your images. I often find mine on search engines like Google or another favorite site of mine would be Pinterest (Vector Images are the best). Save those images to your desk top so that you can easily locate them. Once you have all of the images that you like, you will insert your picture in the Word document. Once you have inserted your image you will click in the middle of the picture and right click on the image, select wrap text and click on tight. Then you will resize it to whatever size you want....Here is my example below.
So basically all you have to do is that exact same thing over and over and move the images to be as close together as possible or where ever you want them to be. A few things to keep in mind, if your image loads over another image, still right click, select wrap text "tight" and you will be able to move it anywhere.

For the sake of this example I only did a few beauty images instead of a full page, which is what I would recommend. You want to take advantage of your full printing sheet. Once you have everything the way that you want it, go ahead and load your shipping label on your printer and print. I will usually see the print preview to make sure I am within the printer boundaries. There is no need to change setting but you can if you want to. Like the quality and what not.
And that's all folks. SUPER DUPER EASY!

Here is the Fall/Autumn stickers I promised you and a great example of a full sheet to print. ☺
Just click on the picture below and you will be taken to my document.
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1d8dcGXFLo_6uuo79jagc4DRGwhxmZZiZ-3pMpT8ga_A/edit?usp=sharing
I do not own any rights to these images, these were all found online in random sites.
Please feel free to email me if you have any questions or if you need any clarifications. I hope this helped you figure out a way to create your very own stickers! It's a lot of fun! I'm hooked on making my own stickers! To see a fun Photograph one I created click here.

Thank you SO much for stopping by and have an amazing day!

Maybelline Dream Bronze BB Review

Hey loves it's another drug store makeup review. I purchased this about a month ago and wanted to really test it out to give you all a full review.

What it claims to do:
BB cream with 8 great skin benefits for a sunkissed glow with a good skin twist.
For all skin types. Sheer coverage.

Why You'll Love It

BB creams combine skincare + makeup in 1 simple step. 8-in-1 sunkissed glow perfector:
  • Illuminates skin
  • Warms skin tone
  • Evens
  • Veils imperfections
  • Protects with SPF 25
  • Hydrates thirsty skin
  • Refreshes
  • Smooths

For Best Results

Apply a thin layer of Dream Bronze BB cream on skin. Can be used with or without a moisturizer.

My overall rating:

Price: I paid $7.99 at Walmart for this product, but the price will depend on where you buy it. It can vary but it's less than $10.
Packaging: I love the squeeze bottle. It makes it easy to control the amount you want to apply.
Longevity:  So if you mix this with another BB cream or foundation it will last just as long as the foundation does. If you wear it on it's own however it seemed to not last very long at all. Maybe 1-2 hours max. This is a product that does transfer, so just be aware and be careful.
Quality: This definitely gives you sheer coverage on it's own. I personally would not recommend wearing it alone as it does not provide enough coverage. It will not even out your skin or provide any form of coverage. It does provide a gorgeous healthy glow. On it's own I think that the glow is a little orange however mixed with another BB cream OR foundation it gives a beautiful natural glow.
Overall rating: a solid A This product has extremely fine glitter/shimmer. You do not feel any grittiness or texture at all. It is very smooth and it applies like a liquid highlighter. I love that it provides and SPF 25 and it doesn't have the strong scent of SPF It actually has no scent. This is a lovely product that I would recommend and would repurchase myself.

There you have it lovelies. I really do like this product. I am looking forward to continue using it in the cooler months to give me that sun glow. Other than the claims that it veils imperfections (which I didn't really think it would do by itself), all other claims seem to be true. I love to wear mine with either my regular Maybelline Dream Pure BB or the Maybelline Dream Wonder Fluid Touch Foundation all of which I love.

Maybelline is one of my favorite drug store products and this one does not dissapoint.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Plan with me August 2015 plus free Photography Stickers!

Hey guys I am so excited about this month's plan with me post. I was able to have a planner party with my friends and got to create this lovely layout! This is a personal favorite of mine because it includes one of my all time favorite quotes!
It reads "Life is like a camera you focus on what's important capture the good times develop from the negative and if things don't work out take another shot".
If you have read my "Gal behind the blog" tab you will know that I LOVE pictures and photography in general.  I made these stickers myself, and I have them to share with all of you!
I will be making a create your own sticker post soon, so stay tuned. I want to disclose that the images are not mine nor do I own the rights to them. I just found the images on Pinterest and created these lovely stickers.
Above you will see the decorated not yet planned full month spread. I seriously love how it turned out!

Here is a closeup of the left side of the page↑
And closeup of the right side of the page↑
I loved the pops of pink so I decided to plan using a pink ink pen.
In case you are curious its just a Paper Mate flair pink pen.
I LOVE the way it looked when it was all said and done. NOW if you pay close attention you will see that on the right hand side I added more of the camera washi tape and a quote. Unfortunately I did not realize that when I started planning the last part of July into the first few days in August that it would bleed through to this page. This was my way of hiding that. I honestly preferred it without that extra stuff BUT I don't mind it either.
Here is a closeup of the completed left side↑
And the completed look of the right side↑
I am overall very pleased with the turn out.
Now here are the stickers I promised you!
Just click on the actual picture below
and you will be taken to my web document.
You can print these off yourself and enjoy them!
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1xW5do336fN9RnclhpXPkWuWty4nOSYVqzVOGSXL0iZo/edit?usp=sharing
For those of you that are wondering here is the Pinterest account I found them on  and  it took me to this website. As mentioned above I hold no rights to these images. My document is just some of their pictures along with quotes and a selfie sign that I created myself. Check it out and Have fun and thanks for stopping by.

Working out and Motivation

Hello my lovelies, so this month I decided to get back on track. Girls not all of us have the luxury and ability to be fit "not skinny" but only one person can help us get there and that's YOU (ME)!
Ever since having my son MANY years ago (13) my weight has been a roller coaster. Thankfully I am not at my highest weight but there is plenty of room for improvement. To me it's not about being skinny, it's about staying active and being comfortable in my own skin! I am "lazy" I need to set a good example for my son and show him that regardless of weight when there is a will there is a way and that you need to
It's so easy to throw your hands up in the air and say I can't, it's too hard or whatever else excuse we give ourselves. I started this journey with two really good friends. In my opinion it is always easier when you have others to help motivate you and keep you in check. You have set realistic goals and expectations or else you are just going to set your self up to fail. It's not going to be easy, not in the slightest....BUT it will be worth it.
Tell yourself that you can and you will! I've done it before, so I know that I can again, you just have to stick to it. One of the most important things to keep in mind is to
I know not seeing results can be discouraging but don't give up! Join me and my friends in this journey, do it for yourself and lets keep each other posted on our progress, I know I fully intend on letting you all know how I am doing for sure.
I have set up a monthly workout plan for myself, just to let you know these are workouts, I am doing on my own. My friends each do their own workouts, so we are in the getting healthy state of mind together, but we each workout on our own. In other words you only need you to get going. PUSH yourself....do WHATEVER just get moving!

Just to let you know, I am going to attempt to walk at least 5 miles a week, do water aerobics twice a week and get some elliptical workouts in there as well. Hoping to workout 4X a week. I got this. There are 7 days in a week and 4 workout days are VERY doable.

And the last thing that helps me with my motivation is looking at a picture of myself at the weight I was happy with, and using that as my motivation. I wanted to share my pic. This was in 2011, not too long ago. I have exactly 24lbs to go.
At this point I was very comfortable in my own skin but I wouldn't consider myself skinny, I was healthy and VERY active.
I know you can do this! I will Keep you all posted on my progress.

Live Happy and Healthy and THANK YOU so much for stopping by.

Much Love,
