September Monthly Favorites 2015

Why hello there guys, can you believe September is already pretty much over? How crazy is that? Seriously the older I get the faster time seems to go by, it's nuts!
Anywho, I love this month because it's the start of the Fall/Autumn Season, my absolute favorite time of the year!
Here are my monthly favorites for this month:
You might be thinking, not your planner again?! Nope it's the new cover I am LOVING and the month and day tabs. I am so sorry that the picture above is horrible, I couldn't get a good pic this month.

Here is a closeup of my cover and the tabs. I bought the the cover and the tabs on Etsy.
Simply click on pictures below and you will be taken directly to the shops I purchased these from.

Now for the tabs, I ordered the silver edition as seen pictured above. I did that so it matched the coils of my planner ☺. (click on picture below to view sellers shop).

Ok next up is the much LOVED and highly used Urban Decay Smoky palette:
This is by far in my opinion the best and must have Naked palette out there. I won't go into too much detail on this on because I did a full post and review, check it out. Click here to see it.

Next up is the Becca Champagne Pop colab with Jaclyn Hill.
This is the best highlight of life, I love this SO much! This is another product that I did a full review on. Click here to view it.

Next up is a brush from Sigma. The small eye liner-E10 brush
For all that know me, you know that I love me some eye liner! This brush is so perfect! I love EVERYTHING about it. You can purchase it on the sigma's website like I did for $14. This has a 5 out of 5 rating because it's amazeballs!

Next up is the MAC blacktrack fluidline gel eyeliner.
I'm not going to say it's the best gel liner I have ever tried BUT I do love it. It doesn't smear, it stays on all day and it's super easy to apply, especially with the brush mentioned above. You can buy this at a MAC store or online like I did. It's $17.50 but it lasts forever!

Next up is another pretty cool brush. This one is a Sephora brand. The Pro Angled Shadow Brush#13
When I am in a hurry and want to throw on some definition in my crease and don't want to stress over the application I reach for this brush. It makes getting in the crease super easy and because it's fluffy it blends my eye shadow out beautifully! This can be purchased at Sephora online or in stores for $20 I actually got it for $11 on sale. Hurry and pick yours up, not sure how long the sale will last.

Next up is a fragrance from Givenchy: Amarige
This is a repurchase for me, this perfume will always be in my collection. I have a wonderful memories associated with this perfume. My aunt who passed away from cancer was the first one to introduce me to this fragrance and to give me my first bottle. It will forever remind me of her. I miss her so much!
Here are the notes about this perfume:
Amarige is the symbol of femininity, radiating and bursting with happiness, a zest for life and generosity. The Amarige woman is radiant and open-minded; her heart-felt joy is evident from her spontaneous, charming smile. Inspired by that very same woman this perfume contains a cheerful, tender and sensual flower bouquet (Gardenia, Mimosa, Precious woods).

It's a lovely scent and I would recommend it to everyone.

Last but certainly not least we have the GORGEOUS Ofra Liquid Lipstick in the shade Miami Fever This is a Colab with the beautiful Kathleen Lights on YouTube.
I  have been wearing this lipstick NON stop, literally! I love EVERYTHING about this liquid lipstick, the color is stunning, it last forever and it's not over drying on the lips!
I love how it looks on my complexion it's perfect guys. It is a limited edition so get yours before they are gone. I purchased mine on the Ofra website
Hope you enjoyed my favorites for this month, let me know if you have a post on your monthly favorites and I would love to check them out.

Have a wonderful week.
Love,

Weekly layout for September 2015

Hey lovelies, gosh these posts seem to be so frequent as these months are flying by like crazy. Here I have my September weekly layouts for you. First of all I love the Fall more than any other season of the year BUT I didn't get too many cute fall washi tapes or stickers, so you will only see two weeks with the fall theme. Just wait until Oct, EVERY week will be a HALLOWEEN theme! It's my favorite Holiday!
Ok so this spread is too stinking cute BUT don't be a goofball like me guys, even though these stickers are too die for cute, they aren't practical and a total pain. NO more 3D stickers for me! They make it hard to plan your other weeks, TRUST ME!
Here it is fully planned. I adore the theme, colors it's all super cute. I like my layouts busy as you can clearly see for yourself.
On the second week, I went with two color combo's that I love. I really like how the butterflies and the color combo's just work perfectly.
This was a super busy week as you can see.I really dislike rescheduling or cancelling things but it's a part of life and it happens a lot. I like the sticker to make it cleaner without, whiteout or an loud X or something.
You guys know I love me some makeup and it was inevitable that I would eventually have a makeup theme so here it is. These were images I googled and printed out myself. I love this super girly spread.
This week was pretty cool, this week included my mom's b-day. We went to see her and bought her a gorgeous arrange of roses. We got a lot accomplished this week.
You know I "had" to create a fall layout for the first week of Fall! I love this layout so much. I love the colors and stickers, the whole bit.
Here is the planned final copy. Another busy week. My friends Becci, Enisa and I just had a planner party on Monday this week and decorated our little hearts away...HA HA HA, can't wait to show you guys what I'm doing in October.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you have enjoyed my layouts for this month. Please let me know if you have your own spreads and if so, please send me links or names, I'd love to check them out.

Much Love Always,

Weightloss Update

Hey guys, hope you are all doing fabulous! I have a quick post today. Just a little update on my progress and workout habits. I promised to keep you all posted so here it is.

I started this journey on 6/16/2015 and all I have lost is 6 lbs total. An average of 2lbs per month. VERY little weight overall. Most of you might think that would discourage me but no, it doesn't. First of all if I am being 100% honest I am not eating 100% healthy. I am trying to make better choices for myself and my family for sure, but it's not always good. We eat out a LOT less than before and most importantly I am working out more frequently. The thing is weight isn't my biggest issue or concern. I am loosing dress sizes and a lot of inches. It's all happening thanks to my workouts.
The hardest thing for me is sticking to my workout routine. It's so easy to have an excuse or to just be plain tired.
I have to literally force myself to workout and the funny thing is 90% of the time I am happy that I did, it's the doing part that I have issues with. I can't help it, this girl is lazy at times.
I am working out anywhere from 2-3 times per week. I am currently doing water aerobics, walking on the treadmill or my elliptical. I do alternate between those for now.
I know I can be doing more but for me I am happy with my current results. I encourage all of you to not give up, to do as I do and go super slow. It's better to go slow than it is to not move forward toward progress at all. I do not have full body pics of me sorry. I will try and have my husband take one of me this weekend so that on my next update I can give you guys visuals.

Thank you for visiting me.

Much Love,

Becca Champagne Pop Colab with Jaclyn Hill

Hello lovelies, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Today I have a fun post for you guys.  It's not really a review more just a little chat about this newish product from Becca Cosmetics.

Before I get into it I would like to send out a shout out to my pal and homie for life, Enisa. She gave me a generous gift card that went toward the purchase of this gem.

So let me start off by saying YES this is WORTH THE HYPE!

This is a limited edition Shimmering Skin Perfector. This is a soft white gold with pinky peach undertones.

Everything about this highlight is amazing. It will make you look like a goddess, glowing from within!
This will give you a true highlight fleekness! ha ha ha.
This comes in a pressed powder formula which contains 8g 0.28 oz.
Everything about this is super cute, even the box it comes in.
I wouldn't expect anything else from the fabulous Jaclyn Hill!
This retails for $38
and when you open it you will see a clear insert with BECCA and Jaclyn's signature.
These pictures from the Sephora website do this product no justice, it makes it look too orange.
Let me tell you, it's not at all the case.
Here is my picture and it's this beautiful subtle peach highlight.
The pigmentation on this highlight is amazeballs!
The color is completely stunning and extremely soft to the touch.
Here is the highlight swatched on my olive skin with yellow undertones.
This is seriously beautiful on all skin tones. Two of my friends have very fair skin with pink undertones and they rock it like no ones business.
Lastly here is a picture of me rocking it on my cheek bones, cupids bow and tip of my nose.
I love that it gives such a youthful glow!
As you can all tell I am a huge fan of this product and Jaclyn Hill herself. This is still available and I highly recommend getting your hands on it, if you haven't already. Let me know if you have any questions or if you own it too and how you like it?

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Much Love,

Plan with me September 2015 (Monthly Layout)

Hey guys so I normally have a plain decorated picture and a final planned picture and I must have been too excited and started planning because for the life of me I can't find the just decorated picture. Oh well...ha ha ha.  For those of you that don't already know, Fall/Autumn is my absolute favorite time of the year! I love EVERYTHING about it!
I used a mix of my own stickers, click here to get them for yourself and if you want to learn to create your own, check out my blog post here. I also used some purchased stickers too.
I learn a little more every month of things that work and things that don't. For instance I started incorporating pens with the same color scheme of the layout or my decorations BUT I can't tell birthday, blog posts or anything else apart because it's all pretty much the same. I fully plan on doing a color scheme system starting in October (which BTW is HALLOWEEN month!!!) My favorite Holiday of life! WOOT!
Anyways guys, there you have it, my September Monthly Layout. I really do love it. There is always room for improvements but I love it none the less.

Thank you so much for visiting me today.

Much Love,

Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette Review

Hey guys, hope you had a great Labor Day weekend, I was fortunate enough to have the entire weekend plus yesterday off. I usually will post Monday's and Thursday's but I decided to take the day off completely.☺

So let's talk SMOKY palette.
This is my favorite Urban Decay palette yet. I have to admit I only own one other, the Naked2 (which isn't a favorite at all). This one however is thebomb.com!

I purchased this palette on sephora.com for $54. It includes 12 eye shadows and one dual ended brush. One side of the brush is a blending brush and the other end is a pencil brush.
Fill Weight: Eyeshadows: 12 x 1.3 g POIDS NET/NET WT. 12 x 0.05 oz
Nine of the shades in it are new High, Dirtysweet, Slanted, Dagger, Smolder, Password, Whiskey, Combust and Thirteen, and the other three, while not completely new, will be available again exclusively in the palette Radar, Armor and Black Market.
What you see is what you get: High (champagne shimmer w/micro-glitter), Dirtysweet (medium bronze), Radar (metallic taupe w/iridescent micro-glitter), Armor (metallic silver-taupe w/tonal sparkle), Slanted (light metallic gray), Dagger (medium charcoal w/micro-shimmer), Black Market (jet-black satin), Smolder (deep plum-taupe), Password (cool taupe matte), Whiskey (rich brown matte), Combust (soft pink-taupe) and Thirteen (light beige satin).

My thoughts!
I am obsessed with this palette, it is so beautiful. I can say it has quickly become a favorite in my life. here's the thing, you can create a ton of different looks. I've created full blown dark (traditional smokey eye looks) and lighter more simple eye looks.

Lets rate this palette.
Price: Typical for an Urban Decay and or high end makeup line palette.
Packaging: By far hands down the prettiest of any Naked palette out and Palette I own overall. It has a magnetic closure and it's perfection.
Longevity: These eye shadows last all day. I do use my Urban Decay Primer Potion eye shadow primer underneath them and they last the entire day without budging.
Quality: They are smooth and super easy to blend. Surprisingly they have very little to no fall out at all. This is a top notch palette with excellent quality shadows.
Overall rating: A+ I am sure you all could tell that would be my rating based on how I have been raving about it.

I wanted to share one of my looks (which by the way was my first time using this palette).
Well guys thank you so much for joining me today. I 100% recommend this product to all of you, this is a must have palette in all beauty lovers collection.

Well guys thank you as always for visiting me today. I hope you all have a fantastic week.

Much Love,

Wet n Wild Contouring Palette in Caramel Toffee Review.

Hey there beauties! I have a pretty exciting newish product for you guys to check out, especially for all you beauties on a budget! I picked this up a few weeks ago and I haven't put it down yet. This little duo is definitely worth checking out I LOVE IT!

The price is $3.93 (Walmart) in 0.46 oz

I am sure you can guess from the title that we are talking about the WetnWild Contouring Palette in Caramel Toffee.

The application is amazing!  They apply very smoothly and gives a flawless look. The product is powdery but not bad, with the end result I can deal with.

The cream shade is a great highlight, I use it to set my under eye concealer to keep it nice and bright, it does have a hint of a pink undertone, which I thought I wouldn't like because I have yellow undertones but no, it works well. It even helps camouflage some darkness.

The contour shade is a nice cool toned brown. Its perfect to contour with, not orange AT ALL!
It is a great taupe type color it's a perfect everyday contour shade.

Let's rate this little guy:
Price: Can't beat drug store prices! Under $5
Packaging: Cheap BUT ok, nothing spectacular.
Longevity: It lasts all day on me!
Quality: Great quality with wonderful end results.
Overall Rating: A this is a great inexpensive product, that I highly recommend to everyone.

Thank you for tuning in today lovelies! Seriously go pick this up, it's worth it.

Have a wonderful day!

Much Love,
