Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 1 thoughts....

Hey loves I hope you all had an amazing weekend! I wanted to do something a little different today. I wanted to discuss my favorite show ever. I have been watching this since the very beginning. I have strong feelings about many of the characters but my all time favorite is Jon Snow! If you don't watch this or haven't caught up you can go ahead and tune in Thursday.

Let's discuss last night's episode...

Jon Snow:
I must say I am disappointed that my beloved Jon Snow was not resurrected in the first episode.
My hope is that he will still come back to us, I am not giving up hope...can't.
In this story line I am truly looking forward in seeing the wildlings coming back to defend Jon's body and kicking some major ass.

Sansa and Theon:
I am beyond happy that these two made the long jump and that they are sticking together. It's about time that Theon did something good.

Brienne:
Girlfriend was my hero in the season 6 premier!
I love how she rescued Sansa Stark and Theon Greyjoy. The Starks are still my favorite in the series and I am hoping that after all that they have endured all will prevail.

Arya Stark:
Sad to see that she is now completely blind yet happy that it seems though unfair they are training her for something? What can that something be?! An assassin perhaps? I don't know. She is still very much alive and that gives me a great sense of hope.

Daenerys:
I was pretty happy to see that her feistiness was still very much on point. She declared who she was what she thought and was basically told she wouldn't be touched by any Dothraki.

Cersei and Jamie Lanister:

I fully expected Cersei to lose her sh*t when she found out about her daughter, Myrcella. She however didn't which was pretty shocking to me. I think for all the horrible things she has been through losing two of her children being forced to walk, naked though the kingdom. She is going to wreak havoc on that kingdom. Of that I have no doubt.
Jamie is standing strong reassuring Cersei that they will make everyone pay for all that they have been through. That they are the only ones that matter.

Melisandre:
The twist on this story line is one of the most intriguing ones for me. I love that she showed her true appearance. She is truly old and looks as though she has lost her faith. I don't think it is that simple though. I think there is more...

Sand Snakes:
The Sand Snakes have betrayed their king, Doran Martell  and his son Trystane Martell. All because they hate the Lannisters. It goes to show that all of the good characters in this show die. Sad sad fact.

This was a great setup to a new season. I am truly looking forward to all of the storylines coming together. If you aren't a Game of thrones fans, sorry but I had to make a post of my all time favorite show so far. If you do watch it and have input let me know what you thought of last nights episode?!

Thank you for visiting my blog.

    1. It is so good but you have to actually watch it from the beginning to appreciate the story line and the characters. Then again it isn't everyone's cup of tea.
