Unboxing my new Plum Paper Planner 2017 with a full review.

Hey guys welcome to Turkey week....LOL! No Really Happy Thanksgiving to all those that celebrate, I wish you all a very happy and safe Holiday. I do want to say that because of the Holiday this will be my only post this week.

So not to long ago I told you guys that for 2017 I would be changing planners soon, and it's here! Time to introduce you to the new Plum Paper Planner.

This is going to be a very picture heavy blog post as I wanted to make sure you got a full idea of what it looks like and what to expect. I did the same thing back in 2015 when I got my Erin Condren.
I will show you the new planner and explain at the end why I switched.

Ok, lets get right into it.

This is the box you get your planner in.
It comes in nice thick bubble wrap to protect your planner.
Your planner will come in a clear pouch.
I also really like that they added a cute little Thank you card.
This is what you see when you pull it out of the box.
This is the cover I picked, it lets you customize the colors and if you want to personalize it with your  own name, initials or anything else you want it to say.
I also really like that it comes with a protective clear cover.
This cover is made from a durable nice thick plastic. It feels smooth and of great quality.
Here is a picture so that you can see the clear cover and the normal cover I picked out.
When you open it you will see the other side of your cover and
the page where you can add your name.
The tabs are all colorful and color coordinated based on that different months.
This is a twelve month planner for the full 2017 year.
The following pages are pretty cool, you get special dates per month. I love this!
The next few pages are equally cool, they are for idea, plans and goals. I love this!
I am not 100% sure how I intend on using this yet,
but it's exciting to think of ways to make it functional.
This is made of thick cardstock, it's very sturdy. The color for January matches the tab color.
Then you get this cool section in the actual month section, you have put goals for that month, birthdays, events and even a things to remember section.
The following page is just a blank note section which I also really like.
This is what the monthly view layout looks like.
I love that I can see a mini calendar for the upcoming month.
This is the layout I picked. It is vertical layout with no sections.
They have several options available on their website for you to pick from.
Here is something new from what I am use to with my Erin Condren.
This will finish out the week and gray out the upcoming week, so you can decide to decorate this page or the following one.
See so here it is the other way around. They still gray out the previous week and the new week.
Technically you can decorate both pages or you can only decorate one, you decide.
At the end of the planner I have a notes section. I added more pages as add ons but you don't have to.
This is what the note section looks like.
This is a graph type, dotted page. Note sure that I will use this or how I will use this but hey, it's cool.
Then you get a My Contacts page and a US Holidays page.
After that you get a full 2018 view, I love this page.
Can we discuss the sticker page?! OMG so so cute!
The following sticker page is equally cute...ha ha!
The following two sticker sheet are blank labels.
I love these! They are very functional.
I use them to track my work days or anything I like to highlight.
At the end unless you have other add ons you get a thick folder, I love the size of it.
The back of the folder is the exact same.
Then you see you get to the back cover and the back clear cover.
The back cover is just as cute and matches the front cover.
Here is the back closed with clear cover and all.
One thing I want you guys to know is that the cover it comes with is not interchangeable
BUT that didn't stop me :)
See if you are very careful you can cut the covers off  and reuse them at a later time,
which I plan on doing.
See my bestie purchased this gorgeous marble Erin Condren cover which fits in my new Plum Paper Planner perfectly!
I did leave the clear cover on because I like the added protection it offers.
Here it is all ready for me to use and honestly I cannot wait!

I have done a lot of research on this planner and seriously there are so many perks that I want to share with you all.

#1 It is cost efficient starts at only $35 it can cost more but only if you have add ons.
#2 The paper quality is AMAZING, like silk paper. Obviously I can't show you that in pictures but take my word for it.
#3 100% Customization allowed.
  • Planner sizes
  • Section add ons
  •  Page add ons
  • Interchangeable Covers
  • Stickers
  • Lined boxes
  • It can be bound like mine or you can request it to be unbound
#4 Erin Condren Covers fit perfectly, so if you have an Erin Condren your covers don't go to waste.
#5 You can use any sticker kits that fit the Erin Condren. That is what you find mainly on most Etsy shops. I will be demonstrating that coming up soon.

OK, so I purchased this planner which ended up costing me $50 with shipping because it offers everything that the Erin Condren offers at a lower price and honestly a better quality.
Erin Condren costs way too much for what you get. The basic cost with shipping is well over $70.

The only thing I wish is that more Etsy sticker shops created layout for the Plum Paper Planner, but I get it, they're not as popular.  Once more people try it I think they would realize what a wonderful planner it is.

Thank you for stopping by and for reading this lengthy review.

Have a wonderful day!
